Basics of Camp Nursingby Erceq, Myra Pravda
Each summer brings thousands of camps and their directors the challenge of maintaining health care and managing safety. Although the professionals who offer their services as nurses often bring years of experience with them, the closed community of a camp is fraught with its own set of unique difficulties. From establishing the health center and orienting staff to diagnosing injury and illness and managing communicable disease, this quick and practical reference enables any health-care professional to arrive at camp and hit the ground running.

helpful basics, lots of things to think about. needs updated edition - a bit dated with new technology. but most camps probably are 'oldschool' techniques anyway. helpful read.
This is an invaluable resource for all camp nurses. It is well-written, concise, and doesn't take up much room in the infirmary! It is the one nursing book I take with me to camp.
