    Batman vs. Batman.

    Following the events from Knightfall, the new Batman retakes Gotham from Bane but leaving major affects from alienating Robin to allowing both an innocent and a criminal to die at the same time. Bruce Wayne returns healed from his wounds and ready to reclaim his mantle from Azrael who has perverted the mantle of the Bat. The action is fast paced and what batfans have been waiting for. Why wait for the new movie and just read this collection of this controversial and popular storyarc. I recommend this book to comic fans and Batfans alike.

    Great way to end the Knightfall saga, but the plot hole that was

    Great way to end the Knightfall saga, but the plot hole that wasn't collected into Vol. 3 dropped this down to 4 stars.

    The conclusion to Azrael’s run in the Batman costume was such an amazing let down. I can’t imagine how fans felt when this was coming out but it was such a strange path to get Bruce back in the Batman costume. A strange tangent involving random ninjas was the biggest offense but if add that to terrible dialogue by Robin and Nightwing you have a dreadful book. Also there is a change in attitude towards Azrael by Bruce that doesn’t fit with his character at all. The art was good in places terrible in others. Overall, this is book that is better left to the recesses of our memories.

    A solid enough conclusion to Knightfall saga but the gap between parts two and three are even more frustrating than the plot holes before. This is one to be wary for.
