An incredibly captivating comic book that combines 5 stories: The cabinet of Dr. Caligari, FW Murnau's Nosferatu, Fritz Lang's Metropolis, The Batman Story, and the Superman story. The story takes place in Fritz Lang's Metropolis (No I'm not confusing it with the superman one) Dr. Arkham has created a creature known as the laughing man (Sort of a Joker/Frankenstein halfbreed.) He opens sort of display ceremony dubbed the Cabinet of Dr. Arkham. Commisioner Gordon and Dick Grayson are mysteriously murdered. Bruce Wayne becomes the Bat-Man (Dubbed the Nosferatu. His suit is now a combination of the figure of Max Schreck in Murnau's Nosferatu and Batman's costume) The Bat-man a.k.a Nosferatu sets out to end the evil which is corrupting Metropolis. Superman appears in the story. What happens next? I'll leave you to find that out. Over all, It is a great comic book. 5 stars. Jesse P. PollackWas this review helpful?
