Overview

Five young women find themselves faced with a choice: follow the easy, set path already laid out for them, or take a risk and follow their dreams. This collection contains the first five stories in Christen Anne Kelley’s popular Little League Series.

From standing up against overbearing fathers (“Prom Dates & Softball Bats,” and, “Throw Like a Girl”) to a fun, alter-serving wedding (“More to Life than Softball”), and finally, the impending Big College Decision (“Softball + Scholarships = Cute College Boys,” and, “There’s No Crying in Softball”). These women must each look within themselves to find happiness.

And, perhaps, even a chance at love.

Meet the Author

Christen Anne Kelley is the author of Home Run and Game Over: Book One of the Romance Video Game Series.

In addition to her novels, Christen also writes short stories including her Little League series, which draws on her – many – memories of base-hits, at-bats, and yes, strike-outs. Christen’s played on more softball teams than she can count, including Southern Connecticut State University. Her softball days might be over, but she still wears her battle-scars from sliding into home plate and scars that can’t be seen – except as stories.
