Michael Vey 3

I’m Michael Vey. Last night I had a really weird dream. I was back home in Idaho, sitting at the table with the cool kids in the cafeteria at Meridian High School. (For the record, I’m not one of the cool kids.) My girlfriend, Taylor (who is one of the cool kids), was sitting on my right side in her cheerleading outfit. My best friend, Ostin, was on my left, eating cheese pizza and garlic bread. The rest of the table was filled with a bunch of cheerleaders and basketball players. As usual, Ostin and I looked as out of place as chocolate doughnuts at a Weight Watchers meeting.

The school’s basketball team was joking with me like they did at Maddie’s party, calling me “Li’l Norris”—short for little Chuck Norris—and trying to outdo one another with their Li’l Norris jokes.

Drew, the basketball team’s star point guard, said, “Li’l Norris is so tough, dark is afraid of him.”

“Yeah?” said Spencer. “Li’l Norris is so tough that the road in front of Meridian High used to be called Li’l Norris Street, but it was changed because no one crosses Li’l Norris and lives.”

Everyone laughed except Ostin, who looked confused. “I don’t think it was ever really called Li’l Norris Street,” he said.

“Shhh,” I said. “It’s a joke.”

“Yeah?” said Drew. “Monsters check under their beds to make sure Li’l Norris isn’t there.”

“I got it; I got it,” Spencer said. “Li’l Norris is so tough that he died ten years ago but Death is too afraid to tell him.”

Everyone was laughing when a low, angry voice behind me said, “If Li’l Norris is so tough, why is he hiding in the jungle?”

I turned around to see Dr. Hatch standing behind me. I was paralyzed with fear. Suddenly everyone else vanished and it was just the two of us. Hatch leaned forward, close enough that I could feel his breath and see his eyes through the dark lenses of his sunglasses.

“I’m going to find you, Vey,” he whispered. “And when I do, I’m going to hurt you.”

That’s when I woke up in the jungle.

A Zappingly Exciting Read! After an impatient year- long wait, I was excited to read Michael Vey 3: Battle of the Ampere,  the latest installment in Richard Paul Evans gripping series featuring Michael Vey and the Electroclan.    It was even better than I had anticipated.  I was totally blown away! The end of MV2 left us breathless and left Michael Vey, his mother and his friends still in the jungles of Peru.   Michael has become separated from the rest after a harrowing ordeal with the Elgen. With his mother finally safe as told to him by an old friend, Michael together with new friend Tessa, eventually reunites with his Electroclan.   The brave and loyal band of cohorts face many obstacles that just might keep them from their ultimate mission, to sink the Ampere and dethrone the devilish Hatch who has become more powerful than anyone could have imagined.    This book keeps readers glued to every page.   Even tears will find you in this shockingly, exciting emotional chapter of the Michael Vey series. Richard Paul Evans does an fantastic job at keeping both kids and adults interested and engaged in all of the books in the Michael Vey series.  RPE is truly a master storyteller that has kept the energy and sparks flying throughout this fun adventure.    I will be recommending this book to everyone.

Michael Vey the Ampere Bang! Bang! Boom! Michael vey the ampere an action packed thriller by Richard Paul Evans. This book is about a group of teens with amazing powers all based on electricity. Some can shoot lightning bolts others can electrocute technology and take their information. This book had a lot of great comedy. When you are reading this book one minute you will jumping with joy others you will be scared and biting your nails. Everyone can relate to this book. Kids can relate to this book extremely well. When everyone reads this book you will be at the edge of your seat. This book is a must read!

This is a great follow-up to the first two books. It is an exciting book that keeps you on the edge of your chair throughout the book. I would love to see this a series of movies like Harry Potter. It is a great read for anyone over 9 years of age.

Loved! Loved! Loved! And I'm in the book club, so I would know. However, I suggest you read the first book of the Micheal Vey series. UGH! I wish there was a fourth book to this series

I bought this book for the cover, I'll admit. But the story inside lived up to my expectation. Teens with supernatural power is sort of my thing, and this book gets me reeved up right where it counts.

Book Review (Report) Michael Vey, Battle Of The Ampere. Like most books nowadays, the main protagonist has something about him or herself that he/she often doesn't know that about his or herself. This story is about a kid with Tourette Syndrome and he is also electric. His name is Michael Vey and this is my summary about the 3rd book in the series. The electroclan has nearly disbanded because Michael has gone missing in the Amazon Jungle, and the second in command, Taylor Ridley, has taken control to keep order. Meanwhile, Michael is in the jungle with the Ammaracara tribe and has met another electric kid named Tessa (a.k.a. Tesla, but she likes her real name better). Meanwhile (again) the Elgen are part of the Peruvian government and claimed the Electroclan are terrorists. But the Elgen board didn’t know about that. Hatch is once again behind it all. I am not going to spoil the ending because it is a huge surprise ,and but you will have to read the book to find out. I give this book 4 stars. The reason it doesn’t get five stars is because, well once again read the book to find out. ____________ | * * * * | ------------------- ________________________________________________ Protagonists _______________________________________________ Character names, roles and relation to Michael Vey. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Michael Vey|Main Protagonist|Himself ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ostin Liss|Electroclan #1 brain|Michael's best friend ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Taylor Ridley|A main character|Michael’s girlfriend ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jack|electro clan tough guy/ex bully|Owes him a lot of favors ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Wade|Jack’s sidekick|Member of the electroclan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mitchell|Electroclan rich kid|ex bully ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ian|Electroclan lookout|1 of 6 kids Michael saved from Hatch ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ McKenna|Electroclan Lighting system(read on to find out why)|1 of 6 kids Michael saved from hatch ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Abigail|Electroclan healer|1 of 6 kid Michael saved from Hatch ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Leonard (Zeus) Smith|Electroclan sniper|1 of 6 kids Michael saved from Hatch ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tanner|Only member of the electroclan whose whereabouts are currently unknown|1 of 6 kids Michael saved from Hatch ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Grace|The electroclan #2 brain|1 of 6 kids Michael saved from Hatch ______________________________________________ Antagonists ______________________________________________ Hatch|Main Antagonist|Tried to get all electric kids on his side ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tara|Elgen Electric kid|Twin sister is Taylor ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Quentin|Elgen Electric kid|Attacked Michael in the first book -------------------

Micheal vey is stuck in the jungle. He is seperated from his freinds and has been "kidnapped" by a native tribe in Peru. His friends, the rest of the electroclan, has been arrested by the Peruvian government. The elgan continue thier dirt work in hunting the electric children. This book is great. The best one yet!
