    Wonderful!

I loved this book! It was totally awesome! It was amazing how Leslie changed Battlecry from an untrainable horse to a champion! But, it shocked me when he won the race in the end and then had a heart-attack. This is a book any one should read!

    Just to let you know

Ummm, some of you suggested that there be a sequel about battlecrys foals, but there already is. In the thoroughbred books, when Ashleigh buys Fleet Goddess, we learn she is one of battlecrys foals, and so is her half brother, Son of Battle. Just so you all know.

    really good book

It's a great book but i gave 4 stars bacause battlecry dies and i don't think that was fair to him. Battlecry was a great stallion once he got the feeling of winning. I can't beleive people gave up on him though most stallions take a while to mature because they are to busy showing off. I highly recommend this book.

    BEST BOOK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this book its the best in the Thoroughbred series! out of the other 39 books i have this is DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE!! its really happy and exhilirating! but then again its sad. And I think that the authors should make another book after that, about battlecry's foal's. I recommend all the books in this series!!!!!!!!!!

I DEMAND YOUR TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!

This book is so awesome! It starts off pretty sad and frustrating and just when you think it couldn't get much better it gets sad. It is a happy and sad book, and it's not a predictable book like some of the others I've read. I hate predicting books. I think this book needs a sequel so we can follow Battlecry's children through their racing years and see if they are as good as Battlecry. I highly recommend you read this book!

If you love horses, you'll LOVE this book...

I just recently read this book, and it was one of the best Thoroughbred books I have ever read. It definitely has a surprise ending. I never even expected it. But trust me you will LOVE this book! It made me cry, and it made me smile. It shows the real bond between horse and rider. I don't think there is anything bad I can say about this book, and it's hard to describe it so please read it...it's something that you will never forget...

    Beautifully written and touching

This book made me cry and now has a deeper meaning because the story is similar to my personal story with my horse. I highly recommend this book to all people who love horses and especially to those who trully understand the pure art that is Horse. Although this book was my favorite many years ago and I now read on a much higher level, it remains as one of the most cherrished of books for me. This, along with all books by Joanna Campell, is very well written and captivating.
