All of the books of Battlestar Galactica

So far I love all the books that I read of Battlestar. Now I am waiting for the new one that is comming out in June 1-2004. I couldn't stop reading it. I wish they would do the new Battlestar on t.v. with the same actors as possible. In fact they should turn this books that Richard Hatch wrote for t.v. I remember when I watched it on t.v. everyweek and on gable it was every night. now they took it off the air and I miss it every much. Thank goodness for the books.

    De ja vu time!

A teacher friend of mine loaned me this book, and was it ever a blast from the past! I found that, after a bit of time forcing my brain to recall the imagery and vocabulary of the show, I was able to picture exactly what Hatch was describing. The only drawback that I found, however, is that - unless you truly are into the show - there are a great many details and story nuances that you might not get, such as the mythological references. All in all, though, I found this book a pleasant visit to a show I really enjoyed and watched every week when I was growing up. For a first major effort, Richard Hatch has started off on a solid footing.

    A Blast from the Past!!

I was amazed at how well this book brought back the images of the series. I was a young child when the series was on, and have on occasion watched the rereleases of the show on the Sci-Fi Channel. This brought all the imagery rushing back. I felt like I was a kid again, watching in rapt fascination as the story line unfolded. Richard Hatch has done an admirable job (along with Christopher Golden) bringing the characters back to life and fleshing out the details of them. Hatch is not A.C. Crispin, or any of the other myriad Star Trek writers, but as he progresses, so will his story-telling ability and we will all be the better for it.
