    Ok, barely worth reading

This is a 1100 page anthology by many authors, with the connecting them of a good "Death Star" battlestation going to the galaxy core to defend against an genocidal invader. It is somewhat interesting, but there are too many stories not worth reading. If you can tolerate those, there are a few authors who wrote interesting stories on the common theme.
