Highly Recommended, I wish it was digital

I grew up reading the Bazil Broketail books, and they are still a favorite of mine. I've had the series now for nearly fifteen years, and I've cherished my old warn out paperbacks. I think that they are a great read for kids and youths, and I hope that I can still find a copy someday when I have kids of my own to enjoy them with. My only complaint is that they have been taken out of print and no effort has been made to produce them digitally in reader format yet. Mr. Rawley has a whole new generation to reach out to in the digital age, and I hope he does it soon.

    Favorite series of all time

This is the first book in my favorite fantasy series of all time. I highly recommend this to young readers looking to get into fantasy, as well as veterans of the genre. The book starts off a little slow but builds to a great conclusion, and the rest of the series only gets better.

    signed a VERY happy reader

    This book kicked ASS!!!!!

This book is about a boy who is given a dragon. He wants to join the 'Army' of dragons. But does'nt have the paper work. So he gets the help of an aprentice witch who gets caught and is kicked out of her 'school'. So a master witch lets her be her assistant. The boy joins the army with the acquired paper work, and fights and travels all around with other dragons. Soon the boy and the girl meet up and with whats left of the army destroys the Doom (a big rock with mutated people to hear, talk, and see with.)

    Bazil Broketail kicked major @$$

I think that some of the best parts of this book were the battle scenes, the discriptive layout of al the cities (particularly Tummuz Orgmeen), and the part where Bazil and the wild Purple-Green dragon fight over the wild female and Bazil ends up winning and gets some.

    Bazil Broketail Series

'Bazil Broketail' is about a dragonboy named Relkin, and his battledragon named Bazil. The series of books tells the tale of their stint in the imperial army. It details their battles, adventures, and love interests. I found this book to be fantastic. I immediatly bought the other books in the set. The world is fantastically detailed, right down to telling you to check for fever on a dragon by checking his wing stubs. You can sense the bond as it grows stronger between boy and dragon, and you are drawn into the books. I give this book my highest rating-five stars.
