It can be very exciting the thought of entering into the world of bdsm. It can also be very confusing. It can be also be incredibly overwhelming. BDSM Primer is a wonderfully informative guide for the bdsm novice. It gives you basic terms and acronyms commonly used in the bdsm world. It covers most beginning aspects of those looking to try things out. It gives helpful tips on the community and safety. Everything you need to ease yourself into it. There is no fluff. It's a quick read, because it gets straight to the point. It could also be used as reference something to refer back to if necessary until you get used to navigating the waters. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has no experience in this area, but are interested to see if it's a good fit for them.

This guide really put things into perspective. I like how it defined a lot of the acronyms that are associated with BDSM. I was really confused about some of the acronyms, and it also clearly defines terms. This book gives a good clear and concise guide into BDSM and different types of BDSM. It also explains in-depth about why a person would want to live this type of lifestyle. I personally have found aspects of BDSM that relax me, and it does feel good to let someone take control. It’s like a mini vacation with pleasure; you don’t have to worry about bills and responsibilities.

This book is very helpful for women that are interested in BDSM

This book is very helpful for women that are interested in BDSM because it includes everything that you need to know about the world of BDSM. It starts out with the basics and goes over common terms such as dom and sub and goes on to cover everything related to BDSM and even provides information about laws regarding BDSM.

This book is especially helpful for beginners because it encourages readers to embrace their sexuality and think about why they are interested in BDSM and what their boundaries are. Many beginners are concerned about safety and this book addresses that issue and teaches you how to make sure that you are safe and comfortable at all times. Definitely a must read!

This book is really informative. It looked intimidating to me at first, but as I read it along, it's just like an encyclopaedia... Except it's for BDSM! While it doesn't push you into the lifestyle, it can definitely make you think and reconsider.

What I love most about this book is that it explains how the lifestyle works, while at the same time protecting yourself and being safe. BDSM isn't something horrible, it's just clearly choice of lifestyle and purely consensual. It makes the people involved respect each other and treat each other with honestly and deep care. It just goes beyond the spanking and the toys.
