    A Truly Awful Book

This book is a charade. I am so dissapointed with my purchase. Dividends are discussed in this book around page 96 followed by a description of the author's day trading adventures. The rest of the book (around 132 pages - book is about 6 inches by 9 inches) is full of pithy statements that could be cut and pasted from the Interent. The reader also learns that the author didn't make any mistakes associated with big losses during major downtruns - the 2000 and 2008-09. A lot of bull here. If this fellow has worthwhile advice, he didn't let on in this book. A great waste of money. I recommend taking a long look at this book in the bookstore before you spend money. As I said above, this is a truly awful book. Is there any standard anymore?

    Waste

This book is a waste. I am glad i did not buy it. Got a printed version from a friend. It is pretty much information you could get from the internet.

    Good practical application

Some great investing pointers, although I would need to make notes or re-read it before putting into play. More applicable to the short-term investor but some good ideas about when to buy/sell.
