Book two and must be read in order. I did enjoy this story more, but these just aren’t my favorite people. Kael, is getting back into being more dominate but I have to say I enjoyed the scenes with him and his handler more than him and Angel. I’m glad to Angel as a character staring to grow up and mature into the role but still enough of the daddy. However, figuring out what he had to do and doing it to save Kael including killing a man. Can’t get more mature than that. The addition of the secondary cast to make everyone more human was interesting, wonder what ever happened to the little girl. Downside, I can’t really get a handle on a time line. Been a few weeks, few months, years. I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review by Crystals Many reviews
