    Be brave part one

Terror. That was all I felt terror. Who would'nt if they were beaten and shoved in the back of a van. It took me a while but I figured out me, my best friends Lela, Darius, Sabina, Alex, and my boyfriend Dustin, were all kidnapped. Everyone except Sabina and I were knocked out. "Mackenzie what just happened." She whimpered. I shrugged to terrified to speak. Sabina's eyes were dark with fear and her head was pressed against Alex. "Sab I don't know what's happening but we should try to sleep." She nodded and curled up next to Alex her boyfriend. It does'nt take me long to doze off. The next thing I know Sabina is shaking me awake. "We're here." One of the men who took us said. They opened the door to the van and started taking us out. "Mackenzie." Darius whispred. I turned to him. His red hair was sticking out and there was a purple bump on his forehead. "Get Lela and Sabinia out of here. They can't be tortured. Lela is too frail and Sabina is to stubborn. Go now!" He hissed. I nodded knowing even though he didn't mention me I would last longer. Before the men could take me out in handcuffs I swung my fist into their temples and kicked them out of the way. The bright sun hurts my eyes. We were on a beautiful island with a big grey building. I saw Dustin and Alex being tortured. They looked like they were in so much pain. I cried out to them. Just their names almost killed me. It delayed me. I stumbbled over to Lela and Sabina both in handcuffs. "What are you doing!?" Lela asked. She was tiny with brown hair. She didn' t talk much but when she did it was worth listening. "I'm saving your lives!" I snapped dragging Lela and Sabina away. Sabina screamed that she wanted Alex and she would never leave him so I dragged her harder. I turned a corner and an old man with a walking stick saw me. "Who are you?" I said cooly. He laughed and smiled at me. "Why my dear Kenzie I'm the one who organized your kidnapping." I glared at him with all the hostility I could muster. "Two things. One my friends only call me Kenzie and two go rot in hell." "Yes Mackenzie that's exactly where I'm taking you." As I reach for his throat he slams hus walking stick into my head. I hear Dustin screaming his head off and see Alex trying to fight the stockades they are in. They just keep getting more splinters in their bare ankles. I see Darius Lela and Sabina get knocked out and dragged away again befire I black out
