Gregory A. Johnson is an ordained minister with over three decades of service in the nonprofit, private, and public sectors. He is a Christ follower with a strong desire to reach, encourage, and equip people to continue the point-of-need ministry of Jesus, extending it outside the walls of a church building and beyond the confines of a church service. In both his writing and public speaking, he brings messages from the throne of God as true spiritual meat for every hungry reader and listener. The messages are relevant, life-changing, convicting, and also blessed by God's precious grace.
Alongside over twenty-one years pastoring, Johnson has ministered in the streets, jails, homeless shelters, transitional homes for those coming out of prison, and in correctional facilities for gang members. He has also worked for two Fortune 400 companies as well as state government. He has earned a degree in computer science from Marshall University in West Virginia and a diploma in ministerial studies from Global University's Berean School of the Bible in Missouri. In 2003, Johnson was named a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Paul E. Patton.
Johnson has also written The Kingdom According to Jesus, Be Encouraged: A Daily Devotional, Volume 1, and The Characters of Christmas: God at Work in Our Lives. He is working on additional book projects.
Johnson and his wife, Becky, have been married since 1982, and they live in Kentucky. They have two adult children, Austin and Kelsey. Find out more about Johnson at his website, http://www.GregoryAJohnson.com.
