    Informative

Full of useful information. I will try this new approach. No technical lingo. The ideas are presented in a clear and concise manner. The only negative aspect i saw was some of the personal stories used. After a while, reading them became a tad tedious

Positive, down to earth training book

This is my second copy of the book, I just gave the first one to my friend from Germany. The book is thorough and well organized. Don is a great coach with positive toughts and training style. I did my first half ironman in 2005 following the book and finished in great spirit and was able to teach a spinning class two days after the race! Highly recommended.

    my favorite tri book

From someone who is in the back end of the middle-of-the-pack, this is one of the best triathlon training books I've read. Complete and thorough. Very encouraging, upbeat and positive, yet not too much so. realistic in training programs. Well-written and organized. I've checked out alot of books and so far, this is my favorite Tri-book.
