Overview

The Dalai Lama famously said, “The world will be saved by Western women.” But not while we’re worrying about our cankles!

Be Less Crazy About Your Body is a manifesto and an instruction manual. Because we twenty-first century ladies are rocking it out in many many ways … but we also still have a lot of leftover mental baggage around beauty and bodies and how we need to look in order to be of value. This little book was written to help you feel more rational and relaxed about all of that. Thereby freeing up mental resources for all the world-saving we could be doing!

Be Less Crazy so you can be more of whatever you want to be.

Read this book, then buy it for every female you love! Megan's advice is tender, realistic, stern (sometimes) and funny (all the time). Best of all, it's genuinely helpful.

I wish I could go back in time and give "Be Less Crazy About Your Body" to my teenaged self. But the good news is, I get to read it now--and the advice is just as applicable to a girl as it is to me or even my mom.

Meet the Author

I'm a writer, entrepreneur, and shift dress enthusiast living in Pittsburgh with my man and our cat.

A few years ago, I started a custom clothing company called Wear the Shift, and I couldn't help noticing that many of the women I came into contact with seemed to think irrational, hurtful things about their bodies. So I decided to write a book to help all of us be a little less crazy about the way we look.

I would love to hear your thoughts! You can check out some of my other writing at BeLessCrazy.com and on The Hairpin.
