Everything you'd expect from a summer romance

I'd like to thank the negative anonymous coward for making me purchase this book. I don't know what kind of 'beach reads' that troll likes, but such a comment seemed like a personal attack on the author. That wasn't very nice after the book received so many great reviews and is such a sought after book for so many reasons. This book tells a tale of young love and brought back memories for me, camping on the beach with friends when I was a teen. Beach parties, booze, bonfires and volleyball! Everything minus the pain and agony of sunburn. I have to say, that this book does in fact have everything you'd expect from a 'beach read' - sun, surf, sand, romance, conflict, and an sensual innocence that was slightly erotic when it came to the love scenes - which was welcomed. It fit the story and I have to agree with some of the other reviewers, I loved Sadie too. The addition of the dog made the book real and an endearing tale. In my mind's eye, I can still see her cute widdle puppy paws on Tommy's surf board. Who doesn't love a puppy?? Now you're going to have to read it to understand what I'm talking about. I don't want to spoil it any further for you. The way the author writes makes you feel as though you can actually smell the sea and feel the wind blowing in your face as the waves lap at your legs, be they standing firmly on shore or astride a surfboard. I could have kept reading this and I will - over and over again. I loved reading "The Beach House" and I'm sure you will too. I do recommend you get your own copy. It's brilliant!! Two thumbs up :)

Made me believe in true love again!

I couldn't help but cry! This book has rekindled my hope in true love being out there. I enjoyed this story so much - especially the dog Sadie. The story really touched my heart. A beautiful tale.

You've Got To Get Lost In This One! A Must READ!

Oh WOW! I loved it. Touching. It made me cry and damn - chapter 4 was hot! Cg, you do not disappoint when it comes to love scenes. I could really feel the energy with this book, (as I did with your other titles too!) Granted, this one is much shorter than your most recent release, but this gem is short, sweet and made me cry! I want to go find my own beach house now,(in the hope of finding my own Tommy.) This read was so touching and heartfelt. I could almost smell the beach while reading it. People, you have to get lost in this story. Read it. I'm sure you'll fall in love with it as I did, (I'm a hopeless romantic at heart.)
And thank you Cg for the heads up on the revised, extended edition! Am very glad to have this version. xx

Love Love Loved IT!! Highly Recommend you read it!

Such a beautiful and touching story. Great descriptions, I felt everything in that book as though I were one of the characters! I'm not a review writing person, just a regular Joe - it blew me away and I admit the story brought a tear to my eye. Cowgirl Brumby is in my books a fabulous and talented author.

I love this story. Whoever that idiot troll is need to get to know the person before attacking Ms. Brumby. She is a personal friend of mine and knows how to write great stories. I recommend those who enjoy reading love stories to purchase this book.
