    A reviewer

I have purchased many books on jewelry making over the past year, since I got 'hooked' on beading and wirework. This is BY FAR the best book on wire-working techniques. The pictures and step by step instructions are so clear and easy to follow. No hard-to-figure-out line drawings here - clear photographs depict each step in the techniques section. Every project is made with round wire of various guages, which is readily available. The projects are beautiful and do-able, even by the beginning wireworker, but by no means 'tacky' or 'cheap' looking. Those people who require exact quantity and size of beads used might feel a little frustrated, since she doesn't come out and say '72 8mm blah blah blah', but it's not all that hard to figure out how many beads you want and really helps you to realize that, while she's giving you the instructions on creating a necklace or bracelet or earrings, she's also teaching you that the ultimate design and style is up to you. The beginning of the book is about tools you will need, the next section is all about technique, and the final section is about design, with many to choose from. The entire book has excellent photographs throughout.

If I only could have one wire working book, this would be it!

This is really the only book you need. It is chock full of different projects that teach the basics of wire wrapping and beyond. The creativity of the projects is also wonderful. I think this was the pioneering book for this medium and it is one I refer to all the time.

    A classic!
