If you already know wirework as well as stitching and beading then you may enjoy this book. If you like to only have a picture to follow and guess what you need to do to obtain the same results then this book may work for you. The "how to's" are short with little detail and at the front of the book. The pictures and instructions are in the back and very hard to follow, especially if you are new to the craft. I personally like a step by step with a picture of each step so I am not guessing when it says to "wrap wire around bead" but in the picture there is no bead with a wire wrapped around it. Mostly this book is a gallery of designs for people who like to see new ideas and then change the ideas to personal preference. If you are new to the craft or want to see better instructions I would suggest Wire Wrapping. I would not recommend this book and wish I had saved my money.

There are not enough photos showing how to do the projects step by step. Just some diagrams and not enough of those either.

The front cover alludes to learning of techniques and patterns. While the book has a few design ideas.. The instructions for the patterns were incomplete. Most patterns and tutorials give lists of materials, clear pictures of the process from start to finish- this does not. While I think this book coould have been good, especially for beginners the lack if clear, concise directions and demonstration make it a waste of money.

This is a good book. You do not have to be an expert to use it. Some wire basics may help, but you can do the projects even if you are a beginner.Have used this book for many class project ideas, and have sold many copies to students who love it. Have not had any complaints, but have seen many beautiful pieces of jewelry.

I found this book via a friend. I would recommend it to inspire you to grab your pliers and beads. I liked this book and continue to reference to it for certain things. Good basics.

The diagrams aren't very detailed and the instructions aren't clear either.
