Editorial Reviews

The Kingston Whig-Standard
Beading is extremely popular with girls from about age seven or eight, and they’ll find dozens of patterns and suggestions in this easy-to-follow guide. It includes instructions for a homemade beading loom made out of a shoebox, which saves the cost of buying a store-made loom.

Children's Literature - Susan Fournier
More than forty beaded jewelry projects are presented in this "how to" book. Follow step-by-step instructions on how to make jewelry such as dangling earrings, bracelets, and necklaces using various patterns and colors. Diagrams and clear illustrations make it easy to follow the directions. The reader will even learn to make a beading loom from a shoebox and weave different kinds of bracelets. Each project includes a list of what is needed, as well as an illustration of what the project will look like in different stages of production. A great way to get started while leaving lots of room for individual creativity.

    Great for beginning beaders

This was my first bead book, I think i got it about a 2 years ago. It was easy to follow and an excellent book for younger people (12+) I think it's an excellent investment for an early beginner. The step by step is great.
