I adore Brandi. I have for years. I don't understand how fake and computer generated singers like Justin bieber and lady gaga can achieve such notoriety but Brandi is almost unheard of... well not for long. I have all of her cds and this one is by far her best. Its raw, emotional, and controlled chaos. Her vocal technique is perfect with the energy of Janis Joplin to boot. This cd is her ride to mainstream success . It has deep rooted country, folk, rock, and bluegrass all in one and she manages to make such diversity melodic. This cd is a must have

I was hoping for more country pop and/or country rock songs. However, “Bear Creek” is best for those who enjoy folk and/or bluegrass music.

The notion of diminishing youth (Carlile ...
