Overview

To win a frightened heart, you have to bare your own.

Halle Shifters, Book 3

Any woman would be eager to be Ryan Williams’s mate. Any woman but Glory Walsh. The sexy bear shifter is beautiful, strong and persistent, she’ll give him that. But Glory’s past taught her one simple truth: people leave. She can’t get past the fact he left her once before. Okay, so he had a good reason, and he did come back. Try convincing her emotions.

When Glory finally agrees to a date, Ryan feels like shouting hallelujah. He only left his mate to hunt down the man who’d shot her, but convincing the stubborn woman she has a permanent place at his side is tougher than he thought.

Their date takes a turn for the bizarre when Glory thanks Ryan for the series of romantic gifts—gifts Ryan never sent. It seems her past is coming back to bite her, and before it has a chance to sink its teeth in and tear her out of his life, Ryan will have to bare it all, right down to his soul, to protect the woman he loves. Even from herself.

Warning: This title contains explicit sex, graphic language, a blue-haired heroine, and a hero who isn’t afraid to get all kinds of naked.

I'm so happy she did another story about the Hallie Bears/Poconos/puma etc. Its been quite a wait. I loved Ryan &Glorys story. They made me laugh out loud many times throughout the whole story. I sure hope it will not take DMB as long to do more stories in this series. Look forward to Erics story along with all the other characters in this book who have not had their own story yet. I could not put this book down, but now I'm done I wish I could still be reading it. I love the fact that she incorporates earlier characters from her earlier stories into each new story. Love knowing what's going on with them now!

195 pages. Ryan and Glory's story answers some questions, like what happened to Hope. And left room for more books in this series. I recommend reading all the books in Halle series.

I Loved the puma series. All 5 books. I Loved Alex & Tabby. But sadly not Cyn & Glory's books. Problem, Cyn & Glory are just unlikeable heroines. They are good supporting characters & a good friend to Tabby. But undeserving mates. Seriously Ryan & Julian deserved better. The sub story with Chloe & Jim- Boring. Chloe knew exactly what she was doing to Gabe & Sara. I'm sorry for her injuries but that story line is boring. This is book where you Love everyone but the heroine.

I love this whole series! Start with the Halle Pumas. GREAT books! Full of characters you come to love. Humor, love, animosity...it's all here. *sighs* I wish I had ME a Bear shifter.

I love this author and follow at least three of her series, including this one the Halle Shifters with Ryan & Glory's story. Ryan is a Grizzly and Glory is his unclaimed mate, who was shot in the previous book a year ago. She has some emotional issues and is afraid to let Ryan in her life. The book has almost all the characters from the Halle Puma series. I would suggest reading that series before reading this book. Not the best in the series but there is romance, jokes, mystery and a bunch of sexy shifters.

Loved the next installment in this series. My only issue was no breaks I some of the writing. One minute you are seeing things from glory ' s view on one side of town and the next paragraph you are somewhere else with Ryan. Had to reread some places to understand what happened. But over all a very good read!! Now time to get the next book. And with so many new charcters in this one I'm hoping for at least 2 more books after book 4!!!

Dana's books just keep getting better and Bear Naked is a perfect example!Ryan and Glory's story was a page turner for me.The story line in this series is never boring or repetitive like is often the case after a series has several books in it. The humor in this series is wonderful and makes it easy to relate to the characters. Keep 'em coming Dana! You're on my auto buy list.

I read the first book in this series, Bear Necessities back in February of 2013 and enjoyed it. The next book, Cynful, earned a 4 star rating and quickly made me a fan. I grabbed this book when it came out, but then got busy and forgot about it. You know how that happens.  So when I saw that book 4, was coming out, I thought that they would make a great double feature.  It didn't take me long to dive right back into the world created around three female friends who run a tattoo parlor. Glory has powder blue hair, is about the size of a minute, but acts like she's 10 feet tall. She has spunk and sass and attitude to spare. She was a great secondary character, but now that's she gets her own story, we get to know the real Glory. Let me give you a hint: We hadn't even begun to scratch the surface on Glory. She was fun.  Ryan, for the most part, is your average bear. I liked him, but this story - for me, was all about Glory and her dealing with her issues. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the story. There was some nice action, some suspense and some "say what?" moments that kept things lively. But overall, a 3 star read.

I was looking for GOOD Shifter books to read after finishing Jennifer Ashley's GREAT series "Shifter Bound" and came across Dana Marie Bell's series on Bears, Pumas, and Wolves, so I bought the whole series expecting another great reading fest! Boy, was I wrong! She explains nothing for the "newly opened eyes". Most of the books seem to be filled with lots of extremely raunchy sex and little real storyline. Sorry guys, I wasted a lot of money and ended up deleting this whole series from my library!

I hope the books don't continue to get shorter. This one ishalf the length of her others.

I liked the idea of Ryan being in love with Glory and trying to persuade her. The sample got me hooked but the story fell short. I am not into tattooed, pierced, bad mouthing girls with blue hair so I think that's why this didn't appeal to me.
