This is the story of Yuiko, a girl who scares animals and Leo, a boy who scares humans but attracts animals. Leo's looks scare people instantly and even more so when he goes berserk. You see, when Leo see's blood, he blackouts and his primal instincts take over turning him into a raging beast that is unstoppable, that is until Yuiko comes along. She seems to be the only one capable of bringing Leo back when his animal instincts take over.

This story only has two volumes and is very short. Even though there isn't a lot to the story, I still found it enjoyable. The connection with Yuiko and Leo are instantaneous and I think I might have had a tiny issue with it. From the moment that Leo saves a cat that Yuiko unintentionally scared up into a tree they are inseparable. Yuiko tells Leo that she doesn't find him to be scary and those seem to be the magic words to turn him into her loyal puppy dog.

    Definitely Worth Buying

Even if you are not a manga fan, this book will blow you off your feet. With funny parts, thrills, drama, and romance, this book is good for a beginner reader or a pro. Motomi's drawing and writing skills are amazing and will take you through a wild ride. The characters are lovable, the plot is on-the-move, and has its share of touching moments. This is definitely a book worth keeping and reading over and over. ^-^

I recommend the manga series "Dengeki Daisy" also by Motomi, and just as good.

    A love like no other.

This book has a lot of stuff in it that is different from other novels. For instance, a boy who acts like a vicious beast when around blood and violence, and a girl who's love for animals, who just don't seem to love her back... These two characters have a wonderful friendship in the beginning that becomes so much more towards the end. They go through many dangers and secrets that it's hard to put the book down! But, why would anyone want to look away from the cute face of Leo, anyways? ^_^?
