    Well researched and creative projects

I found this book not only an inspiration for sewing craft projects but also enjoyable to look read through. The author clearly researched a whole world of mythological creatures assembling a diverse selection. Some of the projects are unique takes on more commonly known figures such as the Sasquatch and the Cyclops. But there are plenty of projects based on myths I had never heard of such as the Kappa, a Japanese water spirit and the comically bizarre Minata Karaia who eats coconuts that grow from his own armpits.

The projects have varying levels of difficulty, but they are all well laid out with easily producible patterns to follow. It is great way to get kids into mythology!
