    Oh. My. God.

You'd think this book would be another simple twist on Beauty and the Beast. Its not. At all. I cried at lest three times while reading this. I reccomend this book to all hopeless romantics because its a love story unlike any others ever written. Its funny, sweet, and sad, rolled into one amazing book. Also, its based in a relateable world with down to earth paranormal characters that seem like your best friend. So glad I stumbled upon this wonderful book.

Not your typical beauty & the beast story. Very unique time period and story line in general. Awesome moral lesson learned. :)

AWESOMEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ (well this and like a dozen more books (:)!!!!!

Beast and Maidens is THE BEST TOP NOOCH(that's right I said nooch, problem?;)) book EVER. It's all about selene befriending a beast named Tornado. They well Selene does everything in her power to break the curse but its illegal for her to go in the forest anway so her sister Dahlia turned 18 which is the age you have to be to go into the woods and fall in love with a beast and you have a week to do it and if you don't fall in love with a beast there's always next year :). Well Selene's friend Tornado takes her to the forest to meet the rest of his people while there Selene falls in love with a beast named Jenson Redwing and he falls in love with her too. So she sees as Jenson changes right in front of her and the other beast which is forbidden untill Selene turns 18. Long story short he wanys to see her again she says mabe so and then Tornado is jeaslous that he didn't find his true love yet which sadly he won't because Wicesla the evil witch sshooys Tornado in the chest after they rally up all the beast and take then to town square wherw the beast will figjt for their freedom but back to Selene she gets out of the forest to finish working on her sisters wedding dress. Yes Dahlia and Henry the beast she fell in love with ar habing a wedding. Selene makes the dress and it turn out that she os AMAZING at it and other women who are having their wedding soon all want Selene to make wedding dresses for their wedding. Their wedding day is finally here and while sitting down Selene notices so called "best friend" dancing and flirting with another woman's husband. Earlier in the story Amber tells Selene that while his wife and her mother went to go pick some flower he and Amber stayed abd he tried to kiss her but she pulled away but I'm sure she wanted to but his wife and her mothet came back abd dhe pulled away. At Dahlia's wedding Amber came and started flirting with Robert who was Jenson but he said that his name was Robert and that he is a distant realative of Henry and that he is a widower and that his wife passed a year ago and now Amber wants to have him but Selene does something to stop it by asking Amber does she want to dance Amber denies the question and catching her drift "Robert" ;) tells her that he would like to dance. Amber is cantakerous and she just sits there alone. Long story short Selene breaks Wicesla's curse after hearing about it from Varla using her mother's spirtual amilet that her mother passed down to her to use to break the sheild that Wicela put over the forest to keep anyone or anything from going in or out but ealier in the forest Selene also meets her four brothers Andy, Max, Rocky, and another one sorry I forgot his name. While going back to the forest because of Wicesla the beast feel defeated but Max told Andy to run and he does. He hides and Amber found him and hid him in her family's small cellar. The next night Ambertold Selene and she comes over to see him and a day later hile Jenson is living with them and after she invites his mother who he had never seen before after fixing her mirror Selene takes her whole family to see Andy who hid from Wicesla they decide to keep him at their house. Long story short while picnicing outside and the Queen getting rid of Mayor Thornbrook after seeing her own son all fout of Selene's brothers start to change and come back to their human form they start rejoicing and dancing and the village now has a new mayor. Selene gets marriednto jeson ang has kids and Dahlia too!!

    More for teens...

The book has good morals and I liked that. I feel like it was written for a much younger crowd. The writing seemed simple but good. Just not my cup of tea...
