Meet the Author

Gita Wolf has written more than seventeen books for children and adults. A highly original and creative voice in contemporary Indian publishing, she has pursued her interest in exploring and experimenting with the form of the book and its status as a revered cultural object. Many of her children's books have won major international awards. Kanchana Arni has taught art-based educational at institutions in both India and Thailand. She has also worked as a curator & gallery manager at the Folk Art gallery in Delhi. Arni has been closely associated with various book projects in tribal and folk-art, served as a liaison for tribal artists and conducted various art workshops for children
