    A good spanking is ok

    I read the book and agreed with most of what I read. I have three girls, 9,12 and 15. They are very bright girls and most of the time well behaved. Once in a while one or all of them will cross the line and it will become necessary to spank them. I use a small wooden paddle. They are placed across my lap, pants/panties pulled down and spanked bare bottom. When I spank my eldest, she is allowed to wear a thong panty. She may need and deserve a spanking, but I feel once a girl reaches puberty, her sense of modesty should be respected as much as possible considering the position she will be in. A bare bottom spanking can be a humiliating experience for a teenager and I don't want to humiliate her anymore than necessary. Once the other girls reach puberty, I will allow them the same. A spanking is a very personal act and should be administered in private. Neither of the girls sees the others getting spanked. Spanking should be the last resort. Once a child has reached the age of reason, they should be reasoned with, but if that doesn't work, then a good ole fashioned bare bottom spanking will usually do the trick. My girls will tell you, when I have finished with their bottoms, they know they've been spanked.

    Children Sometimes Need Corporal Punishment

    I completely agree with the other reviewer of this book though I am only 18 years old. When I was 14-years-old, I repeatedly disobeyed my parents when they would not allow me to do the things my friends were doing and associated with friends they had forbidden me to see. These friends thought nothing of stealing. I had not stolen anything yet, but eventually I probably would have. My Dad found out I was still hanging out with these kids. He was home when I came home from school one afternoon and told me he knew I had been disobeying him, and he was about to whip me. He removed his belt and told me to remove my pants and my panties. He made me lay across my bed. Needless to say, I went to school the next day with a very sore behind. To this day, I never disobeyed either one of my parents again. My so-called friends ended up in trouble for stealing.
