Overview

Beautiful Chaos, the sophomore EP from international pop group Katseye, kicks off with the cacophonous "Gnarly" -- a head-rattling, pulse-pounding dose of noise that could have been crafted by M.I.A. two decades prior. The set quickly veers into romantic Latin territory with "Gabriela" and then hyperpop-lite on "Gameboy" and "Mean Girls." The five-track effort ends in under 15 minutes with another riot of energy that coincidentally shares a name with the aforementioned electro star, "M.I.A."
