I love that song, track 4. I'm also big fan of music that's has an internal rhythm that makes free-verse lyrics seem to rhyme. Joyner does that. The album isn't that cohesive but that's because it's a collection of "Singles," very enjoyable singles reminiscent of Dylan home-recordings. I wish they'd digitally cleaned up the sound on some tracks, but it says a lot that many songs are unique and strong "Flouride, Hold On to Your Breath, Veteran's Hospital Song..." despite the poor recording quality. Was this review helpful?
