    Too short thrown together

I really liked this series but it could have and should have been 1 book. This one was less than 100 pages. Also kristen is a great character, strong, independent but in this book she seems uneducated and weak which is not the case. I think if the story had been more developed it would have explained things better.

I didnt like the way Kristen was portrayed as such an idiot

Kristen was s college graduate with a very lucrative job, so totally not without the ability to think and reason. But as Marty beat up Vincert, she was not only portrayed as stupid enough to shoot a gun twice and not use it to subdue Marty....she allowed him to use the mace around HER neck on Vincent and then completely forgot about the taser that Vincent got for her. Who does That? I get that she was scared.....but Marty was beating the life out of the man she loved. In real life she would have tried to do something to help him......And what did they do about Aerial?....it just seems like West ran out of time and the last book was thrown together. Would not recommend wasting the time reading it

The last book in the Surrender series picks up right where the last book ends. The cliffhanger at the end of book 2 was talked about right away. Kristen and Vincent's relationship is rocky throughout this book, with all of the drama surrounding them. Kristen's ex Marty comes back into the picture, and is willing to do anything to get her back. He is a violent and dangerous man, and Kristen and Vincent disagree on how to deal with him. This book ends with an unexpected surprise.

    A great read

I only gave this book 3 stars because it's a series of 3 books and the 3 books don't add up to 300 pages. I would have been much happier if it was one book or each book was longer. Having said that, the love the 2 main characters have pull you and the sex scenes are hot. This book in the series really keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you are looking for a quick read then this is the series for you & a great love story. Happy reading!

This is the conclusion to Kristen and Vincent's story in the Surrender series. This book actually starts out really well written. I liked how the author wrote the flashbacks of Kristen's relationship with her ex. This gave me a lot of hope. Then, once back in the present, the hope dissipated. Kristen's ex has finally made his appearance shown at Kristen's apartment. Turns out Vincent had hired two bodyguards to watch over her because of her fear of the ex. When the bodyguards intercept him and Vincent appears after Kristen took off from him, Vincent attacks her ex in defense of her. This freaks Kristen out and instead of any kind of gratitude, Kristen starts defending her ex, even though it was her fear of him that had her running to Vincents home at the beginning of the series. She made such a huge deal out of this that it seriously disappointed me and basically ruined it. Plus, the way her roommate basically convinces her that all of her (justifiable) insecurities were just her habit of running was really irritating. The ending, while predictable to fix her actions and feelings about it, wasn't actually that bad.

Kristen's ex boyfriend Marty, is still stalking her, even after

Kristen's ex boyfriend Marty, is still stalking her, even after years of being apart from their college relationship. He's dangerous, and unpredictable. Luckily for Kristen, she's got a strong, and powerful boyfriend who's willing to put his life on the line for Kristen. Vincent would do anything for Kristen, and is willing to prove it. Especially after all their misunderstandings and complications during their new relationship.

I thought this was a well written romance, that wasn't fully about the sex. It had substance, and a plot I could actually get into. I enjoyed the read, and will definitely be interested in reading Ms. West's other books. I give this book 5/5.

    Not sure?

Story could have used a lot more suspense. The emotions of the characters could not be felt throughthe words of the author. During the series, Vincent appeared weak and the words spoken for him were generic and not those of any men I've ever known. Very porly written.

    A good finish.

Although it was a fast read ( which one could complain about), it was still a good read. However, I didn't like the inconsistancy in Kristen's character. She was generally a strong female character but when faced with Vincent's abuse at her ex's hands, she acted as if she didn't have a brain. Even if she were frozen with fear most who've been abused would do nearly anything to save the ones they loved from the same fate. Other than that and the lenght of this series, it was pretty entertaining.

    Explosive but quick

Pregnancy, really? How old is that? And seriously, with their iqs and eqs required by their lives, that whole story line is wrong. The stalker ex is great, but could have been creepier than one blow up. Lost opportunity for suspense. Good, not breath taking. Ended too quick n neat.

I loved all three books in this series!!! The books seemed to fly by, next thing I knew I was onto the next book. I was soaking up the words...I loved Kristen's spunky personality. While at times I was concerned with Vincent's commitment level, their new relationship was fun to go through with them. Great writing!

¿What gives you a thrill Kristen?¿  When Kristen Daley meets

“What gives you a thrill Kristen?”

When Kristen Daley meets Vincent Sorensen, she certainly gets more than what she bargained for. Kristen is a financial analyst trying to secure Vincent, a billionaire entrepreneur, as the newest client for the firm she works for. It will be a huge step for her career. She has researched everything she can about him and his company. He is a tattooed surfer who turned his love of extreme sports into a billion dollar company. She could never have predicted the physical effect he would have on her. She is immediately attracted to him and she can tell he feels the same way. She is reluctant to get involved with him for personal as well as professional reasons. However her resistance will only last for so long. She has been hurt in the past and does not want to jeopardize her career for some man.

In a genre that certainly is being done more and more, Ms. West manages to keep things fresh, original and exciting. Yes, Vincent is wealthy and a bit of a bad boy, but his attitude is refreshing. He is not a complete dominant alpha male, nor does he feel the need to know Kristen’s every move. Yes he is protective and definitely pursues her hard but he is not overbearing or controlling. Kristen is also not our typical damsel in distress type either. Yes she does have a past that comes back to haunt her, but she is not helpless.

The chemistry between these two is hot hot hot! Kristen has an uncontrollable physical reaction to Vincent when he is around. He feels the same way about her. For a man who could clearly have any woman, this is absolutely about more than sex for him. The sex scenes are great and manage to not be repetitive. They spend a lot of time apart so when they are able to be together things get hot. Fast.

I read all three novellas as if they were one book. I cannot say that I liked a certain one better than the rest. There is also a great story line written in between all the smoking hot love scenes. (view spoiler) Kristen and Vincent do spend a lot of time apart so there are some misunderstandings but this really only fuel their desires for each other.

My only issue with the series was that the ending seemed a bit rushed. I felt that there could have been another book or at least a few more chapters added on.

4.5 stars for the series as a whole and I would highly recommend a nice Mojito or Pina Colada and beach day to read this steamy series! Enjoy!

The third book in the Surrender Series has much more action and is a little bit longer. I enjoyed this book more than I did the other two.

I just don't think this should have been a trilogy. The storyline could have been expanded on the more complex situation with Marty to make the other two books a bit more exciting. Kristen has two run ins with him in New York (not counting when she wasn't home) and the second time was the last time and the most action this series has seen. Minus the hot schmexy scenes, because those are H.O.T.

I will recommend this book because even though it's short, it's still good. I have read many other great books by this author so I will continue to read her work.
