    Much to short

As much as I love the fairytale, it was much to short and the plot was quite different from the disney verson. I would still recommend it but it was only 13 pages. happy reading!

Disney did not make this story

Sorry, but to those of you who think Disney, of which I am the most adoring fan, created this or any story the classic movies were of... they did not. Disney made nicer remakes, which turned out amazing. Disney made up their story of Belle.

    Classic Tale

You have to remember when reading this book, the story is old. Disney didn't create the story of Beauty and the Beast, they adapted it for their intended audience. If you want to know where they got their inspiration, I would highly recommend this.

    Beauty and the Beast

First of all her name is Belle!!!! Not Beauty!!!!!! And second of all its only 13 pages! Its okay. I got this for my 8 year old daughter, she loves Belle and she also loves the movie and also she loves to read so she was really disapointed when she found out it was only 13 pages and her name wasn't Belle. If you want a long version don't ask me all i could find was this and the ones i got for my 4 year old daughter. If you want a short version I would recomend this book for you, if not good luck finding s longer vetsion!

Catherine R: In the original version of the tale, the leading lady's name WAS Beauty. Disney just changed her name for reasons I don't know.
