    interesting fairy tale rework

I usually like stories that are based off of fairy tales, but this was just... eh. Nothing really made sense, and I didn't like the constant use of "rose" as a description of female anatomy. It got really annoying. I thought the heroine was somewhat intelligent, but I guessed a main plot point so it wasn't unexpected either. I was disappointed.

    Ended Too Quickly

Not bad. I feel like the novel ended too abruptly, the main character made a lot of stupid moves and there was little closure. I was annoyed that I had to find the other books in order to find out whar happens to a heroine that I don't care about. Plus, I didn't see anything likeable about the heroine or anything that shows she is a well rounded character. And whaever hardships she had were brought by her behavior. Why would she want to provoke the man who practically controls what will happen to her? So the premise was good, but I didn't like how it ended, it was too quick for my liking.
