Big fan of Beth Kery. Very unimpressed in this series so far. I paid for a disappointing 55 pages. Part 1 of the book doesn't begin til page 8 and ends on page 37! The remainder of the book is a preview of her book Wicked Burn; a book which I have already paid for and read. Very misleading to market what's basically a chapter in a typical book as multiple parts. Next time don't rush the publishing and sell the reader's the book as a whole. I'd be willing to wait and pay the additional money for a complete book.

Penguin deceives the consumer again. This is a serialized novel. By
the time you buy all of the installments you will have paid close to $16
bucks for an ebook. Do yourself a favor and wait until all of the
installments come out as a single book/bundle. By that time, maybe
Penguin will have wised up and understood that the consumer isn't as
stupid as they'd like to think. Apologies to Ms. Kery who probably has
a great story here, just needs to consider getting a publisher who isn't
out to screw her readers.

I bought both part I and II in hopes that part II would be more. It wasn't! I refuse to pay $16.00 for a nook novel. Seriously, just put the chapters together and call it what it really is just one book. I get 100 page series but 30 pages is a bit ridiculous. I will wait until not enough people buy the books and I can finish the seriers for less. I can wait, its not that mind blowing of a story.

The book is good, it's the delivery system thats misleading. If I'm signing up to read a chapter a week let me know that up front. I'll likely plan to watch a TV show instead.
Each series is so short put 3 or more together in one book. If it's a $ issue charge more for the combined series. I feel like I wasted my time as well as my money.

Two chapters...that was it! I was shocked to find that I had just paid for such a small portion of the story. It literally took me an hour to finish "the book." The story, or what I got to read of it, was well written and enjoyable, but entirely too short.

This is a serial novel, each part released every Tuesday for eight weeks. If you understand what you are getting, you'll really enjoy this steamy, addictive story.

This can't even be counted as a book. It's a couple of chapters thrown
out there as a story-sucking you in to buy the next one, then the 3rd
one. But Wait! After you've bought 3 books it's not even close to
finishing the story. The plot follows extremely close to that of Fifty
Shade of Grey, except you wind up not really liking the male character
in this book. I liked the female character and would like to find out
what happens to her, but after paying $6.00 for a third of the story,
I've decided to cut my losses. If you've read Fifty Shades of Grey,
then don't waste your money on this because it's an inferior story. If
you haven't read Fifty Shades of Grey, go read it. You'll save money in
the long run because the story has already been written and three
books-done. The moral of this review DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This is such a deception. To get the whole story you have to buy all of
the books spending over $12.00...really? Not worth it. Bad gimmick.

Great story but it is an expensive read. She write about 50 pages per book and to have to continue to by the books to get the whole story so far there are 6 books. I stopped after book 3

The writing is great BUT $1.99 for each "book" (that has 30-40 pages of the actual story...the remaining 20 or so pages are excerpts from other books by the writer) is just ridiculous!!! This author and publisher should be ashamed for charging this much for a series that should've been published as a WHOLE book and not as a weekly "MINI-series"! If you put all of these "books" (I use this word very loosely) together, you'd still have a relatively short book with an abrupt (but ok) ending to it. Do NOT waste your money! I read on the author's website that it will be coming out as a whole book in the middle-end of January. Wait to see how much it is then...I wish I woule have!!

Lesson Learned
I should have read the customer reviews and I would not have spent my money. The story was interesting but the pages were few!!
It is difficult to really develop characters and storyline in only 20 something pages. Very, very annoying. The author would have been better served to wait and combine many of her parts into one book. I will not be reading the rest.

Saw the complete novel up for sale instead of the agonizing two chapters at a time I sat through. I STILL SAY SHAME on any author and publisher that does this, complete the work and post the full work. Lesson learned with this author, will not be buying her books ever again not because the story is bad, its the delivery that just sucked!
