A MUST READ FOR ANY STOCK INVESTOR

I have been investing for about 3 years now, and I lost big on my very first stock pick. I thought I was the UNLUCKIEST PERSON in the world! How I wished this book had came out earlier and I had read it before investing. It hits me that it wasn't luck but pure stupidity and ignorance/experience on my part. Personally, the 1st Rule expounded in the book is so profound it's beyond question. However, I still have a very bad habit of forgetting or pushing aside the 2nd Rule. LOL! Crickey! In this boom time we're having it's hard not to get all carried away with easy money. But this boom, like all before it, will not last forever. When the bust comes I don't want to look back and say: Why didn't I follow the Rules?! I believe the value of this book will prove itself over time, like Warren Buffet and George Soros, and I hope to make the most of it. Check it out. You won't be sorry. It's worthwhile reading in any case, easy to read and comprehend, for less than the cost of a brokerage. Good luck! I don't wish to rely on that too much, if at all and you won't need it either after reading the book and apply its Rules.

    Makes sense and it works!

Who knew? Buffet and Soros don't diversify -- they concentrate! They focus on what works for their investor personality and push pedal to the metal. Mr. Tier has a straight forward writing style with no hint of star worship. This is a practical book which contains proven wisdom.
