I have been given the opportunity to review this delightful book "A Bedside Book of Saints" by Fr. Aloysius Roche, Published by Sophia Institute Press. As the Advent season approaches, I enjoy reading books similar to the above. This book is wonderful for night-time reading, the chapters are light and informative but enjoyable for a relaxing read right before bed. Of course I loved how the author wrote in the first sentence of the Preface. "If there is to be a bedside book of saints at all, it ought to be made to look the part; its pattern may well be that of the old-fashioned quilt - a thing of threads and patches. " I will enjoy this book for years to come.

It's the same book as the $10 one only it doesn't have a cover image. If you are interested in Catholic saints go ahead and read it, why not?
