We read this book before bed every night for probably a year. It is perfect for a precocious 3 year old, and will transition well into kindergarten and beyond. I purchased it for my best girlfriend and her daughter, who is 2 1/2, very verbal, and loves books.

I still have the book my parents read to me, and I couldn't help but get another one for my two children! My son comes running to me to read it to him too!

I remember growing up, my mom would read this book to me. I think I also had the book on record. It was fantastic. I've actually added it to my Christmas wish list so that I can have a copy of it for myself.
