Overview

Plenty of thirtysomething women would be thrilled to look like a teenager. But journalist Kathy Hopkins wishes she could be taken a little more seriously-or, at the very least, order a glass of wine without producing ID. Now her youthful appearance is forcing her into an undercover assignment she could do without: posing as a freshman at a small liberal arts college where, rumor has it, a secret prostitution ring is flourishing.

It could mean a career-making exposé. But right now, pretending to be eighteen means dealing with a Clay Aiken--obsessed roommate, late-night parties that test her aging body--and most embarrassing of all, a massive crush on a guy who's just turned legal. Suddenly, Kathy's got the chance to do it all over again, hopefully better this time. Fortunately she's a quick learner.

I bought this book to read on a 10 hour plane flight. I read it on one leg of the flight. I liked it so much that upon my arrival at my destination I bought her other novel as well!

What a great summer read! I laughed out loud so many times that people asked what I was reading. I loved Kathy Hopkins' sense of humor, she just made me giggle. I felt like we could be friends or that I know her. Looking forward to more from Carol Snow!

This is a cute book. Although the synopsis shows a lot of promise the story lacks what readers expect. The back of the book should have been more clear because it took about 180 pages to get to that and the book isn't even that long. I will say though that Snow is an excellent writer and even though we don't get what is expected the story does come together. Getting Warmer was much better though if you are looking for a read by this author.

Loved the book. I do not read much, and bought the book to read on vacation. Finished in one day.
