Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Kathleen Karr
our pages are hardly enough to develop a complex story, but if the reader is willing to give theatrical renditions of the cues here offered, a story will evolve. It is a story about vehicles. Cars go "VROOM VROOM!" The train goes "CHOO CHOOO!" The airplane goes "WEEEEEEE." Nice textured things for baby to touch add to the frisson: occasional embroidered borders; cloth wheels with pullable treads; the train engine's appliqued cow catcher done in bright yellow corduroy. The crowning touches, however, are the squeaker embedded in the front cover and the mirror that serves as an airplane window in the last page. For babies, any squeaker is a joy. And since narcissism seems to automatically arrive with the elevated age of four months, any snippet of a mirror is going to be a huge success. All four puffy, washable pages are soft and cuddly and eminently chewable without parental worry. The label states that the book is made with new polyester fiber materials and that it conforms to safety requirements. Reviewer: Kathleen Karr

Great book. My grandson loves it!

This book is very cute. It has alot of bright colors and sounds you can teach the baby. My grandson likes looking at himself in the mirror.
