First, we send away the doubts of those who have seen the one-star ratings awarded by some users. This is the version of Beethoven's symphonies recorded by Karajan in 1963, his interpretation more balanced, sensitive, glistening in his career. Even today we are faced with one of the best versions of the symphonies of Beethoven and better play. Recall that then the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra was a monumental team, arguably the best in the world. The recording then, here offered in SACD is technically older but very valuable, and it seems to benefit a lot of new technical support .. sounds are softer and more delineated. Five stars, no doubt.
