    Highly recommend

Not only is this book a great read, but it can be life changing! It's thought provoking format is ingeniously creative. Our daughter read this book when she was at a crossroad in her life, having to make some decisions regarding dating. It was so helpful in giving her solid Biblical answers to common questions teens have and equipped her to handle the emotions, thoughts, and pressures she may face. It's discreet enough for 11 or 12 yr. olds and thorough enough for anyone in their single years.

I am quite surprised that this book is so approved and accepted.

I am quite surprised that this book is so approved and accepted. Realistically, this book was written by a young lady who talks about prince charming, but is not married at mid-age - a hundred years ago, they would have considered her an old maid. I've read the book thoroughly, and didn't find any helpful views of marriage and courtship. It's a fairy tale where the dad is perfect - He's the King, so what about Jesus(?!), they are secluded from anything to do with life in the village - where the knight grew up(!), and things that are pleasures in life are considered sinful. There are so many girls out there who need something real, and this book doesn't help them at all. There is nothing about her getting to know this young man, he is just approved by her father so she "falls" for him. Betrothal. Yuck! Don't get this book for your daughters, teach them the principles of the word of God and raise them to be happy, loving daughters that make a difference in the world. To keep the cloistered at home isn't healthy. If you want a truly realistic book about relationships that are Godly and will last, I would highly recommend Debi Pearl's "Preparing to Be a Helpmeet" and Eric and Leslie Ludy's "When God Writes Your Love Story."

p.s. the only person I would recommend this book to is someone who wants to stay single their whole life. ;)
