If you loved Fifty Shades of Grey or Sylvia Day's Crossfire series, you'll love Songs of Submission...
--------------------------
This omni edition contains the three novellas of Sequence One. It runs about 330 pages of print, or 95K words.

Beg
My name is Monica. I'm a singer born and raised in Los Angeles.
I've stopped dating. When I cut a record, or win a Grammy, maybe then I'll be with someone, but every man in my past has done everything he could to make me submit myself to him, and it's gotten in the way of my career. I won't do it again.

But there's Jonathan. He owns the high-rise hotel where I work, and he is gorgeous and charming. I refuse to fall in love with him, even though when he asks me to submit to him, I want nothing more.

Tease
When Jonathan was gone I couldn't stop thinking about him, and the first thing he did when he got back was demand more of me. I'm willing to give him my body and my time, but I find myself giving up pieces of my heart.

My career is on track, and even though I can't write a thing, I can sing. So I'll go to the art opening with him, because his ex wife will be there. I feel this need to protect him from hurt, though in bed, his domination brings me to my knees.

This man is going to break me into a million little pieces.

Submit
"You're mine. The minute I told you to spread your legs and you did it, you were mine. When I told you to beg for it and you did, you were mine. When you put your hands behind your back without being told, I owned you. You never had to say a word. You are a natural submissive."

No. God, no.

My name is Monica, and no matter what Jonathan says, I am not submissive.

I became addicted to this series. To see the relationship between the main characters develop throughout this series was great. A deep and erotic exploration of love, life and sexuality. This series had it all... drama, angst, passion, love and hot sex!

C.D. Reiss has a way of writing that pulls you in and won't let go until the bitter end. Beg, Tease and Submit begin the journey of Monica and Jonathan. Monica is a musician living in Los Angeles who has to work as a waitress as she struggles to get her music heard with her best friends Gabby and Darren. Her first encounter with Jonathan is memorable as she spills a drink on him and the loses her job but he owns the restaurant. Well, Monica's directness derails Jonathan's plan so let the games begin. Jonathan is intrigued by Monica and finds himself pursuing her. This is a wonderful story about a relationship where both parties have their careers and family issues to deal with while at the same time finding a way to be a couple. They both also have to work on the D/s elements that they share in the bedroom. All of these elements create an amazing journey that as a reader was really glad I jumped into.

VERY HOT! I hate a series even worse than a trilogy, but love this story. Glad I waited to start it after it was complete or the wait would have been terrible. Can't wait for her next, "Songs of Perdition" (another series, so I will again have to wait until it is finished to start it). At least "Spin" was a stand-alone, and just as HOT as "Songs of Submission".

    highly recommended to adults

I really like it when a sexy book has a plot and not just sex. This had a little sex and plenty of other things going on in the lives of the characters--all very typical things to happen to normal every day people. I can anxious to finish the series.

    Steamy story!

Although I enjoyed this story, I did not think it was great. Some of the reviews compared this to 50 Shades & The Crossfire series & it doesn't even come close to being as good. However, with all that being said now that I've started this series I am drawn in to keep reading it. Getting ready to start the next book.

    Love This Series !!!

"You're mine. The minute I told you to spread your legs and you did it, you were mine. When I told you to beg for it and you did, you were mine. When you put your hands behind your back without being told, I owned you. You never had to say a word. You are a natural submissive." Jonathan "Submit"

Hot Alert!!!!! I Just finished reading "Songs of Submission: Sequence One (Songs of Submission #1-3) by C.D. Reiss, which includes "Beg", "Tease" and "Submit" I found this gem of a Box Set on Sale. I read it in one sitting and can't wait to complete the series, which includes: "Control" "Burn", "Resist" and the conclusion to the Series "Sing" which comes out on October 7. 2013

In "Beg" we meet Monica, a singer trying to make her mark in the Music Industry in LA. Monica has walked away from a relationship that threatend to stifle her singing career. She has sworn off men for the time being, she does not want to lose herself in another relationship, she is determined to Focus on her music.

Jonathan is a handsome, charming alpha male. He owns the Hotel where Monica works. Jonathan is still in love with the ex-wife who left him, but finds himself drawn to Monica. He wants her on his own terms, He wants her to Submit to him.

What follows in "Songs of Submission" is the dance they play out. Monica while, apprehensive, is losing the battle, She wants to submit to Jonathan as badly as he wants to dominate her sexually.

Monica and Jonathan embark on a journey, exploring the world of domination and submission. The goddess and the King have some seriously erotic, hot sex...they agree there will be "no promises, no lies" they'll enjoy each other until the relationship runs it's course. But of course life gets in the way as it often does, there is heartbreak, anguish, jealousy and lost.

Monica finds herself, falling in love, and Jonathan realizes that he feels more for Monica then he cares to admit to himself... Will Monica, be able to balance her career as singer and her all comsuming need to have Jonathan? Can Jonathan move on from his ex-wife and surrender his heart to Monica? You'll have to read "Songs of Submission" to find out.
