Overview

Law of Attraction, Meet the Law of Action The Law of Attraction tells us that whatever we focus our attention on, consciously or not, we attract into our lives. Think happy thoughts, enjoy happy experiences. And vice versa.

Begin with Yes introduces the Law of Action, a principle that reverses the order - and is equally powerful: What we do affects how we think, and the kinds of experiences we have. When we take small, manageable steps, we feel more positive and our lives flow more smoothly. Begin with Yes is all about setting things in motion and opening new doors. Getting unstuck. In this short, engaging conversation, counselor, coach, and motivational speaker Paul Boynton maps out a surprisingly easy, logical, and liberating alternate route to a better life. In short, not only does Begin with Yes make change seem possible, it provides concrete examples that show the way.

I will never say NO to friends again....

A bunch of my friends belong to a reading club, and they chose this book to read last Month. They kept on telling me that I need to pick up a copy of this book, and I just told them...NO! I don't have time! Well one day when I got home there was a used copy in my mail box with a sticky note that read...just say "yes...I'll read it" so I did... at home with a glass of wine. I read this book in one hour...couldn't put it down. One hour out of my time, and it will change my life forever! Thank you for writing this "gem" as Joan Lundon stated!

    A Thoughtful Contribution

"Begin with Yes" offers a lively, energetic, and manageable guide to achieving your personal best. Boynton's "Yes" strategy is direct and easily approachable. More than simply a checklist guide, Boynton offers his readers an attitude shift that, if implemented, can make a real difference in how we perceive the world. Written in a highly conversational style, "Begin with Yes" reads like a sincere and uplifting talk with an old friend. I would recommend this book to anyone with an open mind and a yearning to explore.

A book well worth the short time it will take you to read it.

Paul Boynton's book, Begin With Yes is an inspiring guideline on how to lead a successful life by choosing to be positive. It is a short read because it is basically a refresher course on principles that sometimes get lost in the challenges we face in life. If you tend to be negative, this book will be a revelation. If you already are a positive person, Begin With Yes will be an inspiration with tips on how to utilize your positive nature in the most effective way. I highly recommend you make Begin With Yes an addition to your literary collection. Austin Howe writer

Wonderful book written by a very wonderful man!

I decided to read this little gem one day after having it in my possession for some months. I was just "not ready" I kept telling myself. Now, that I have read it I can't understand what took me so long...this book will have you change the way you think and how you perceive things. Now, when someone either does not cut out in front of you or they just wait when the light turns yellow you can look at them and think, "they choose to be safe today and not have an accident!" instead of ranting and raving in your car about the so and so who just caused you to jam on your brakes!

I have the distinct advantage of knowing Paul and he embodies what he writes. He is an amazing man who has a very powerful philosphy for all of us to share with him and learn from!

    A must read! :-)

Have a conversation, move your life forward!

Paul's engaging, conversational tome imparts massive doses of practical direction to help you kick up some life momentum. This isn't a book of amorphous musings and lightweight platitudes; there is substance here, well-told and, most importantly, actionable. Highly recommended!

    Very Motivating

Anyone who is in the process of trying to create a better life for him/herself will love this book. The author's easy, relaxed style sets the tone for gently motivating us to make steady progress toward our goals and dreams. Set a goal for yourself and then take that first step toward it. Then another. Then another...

    Change YOUR Life Forever

What do you choose to read? I am aware that my choices in reading materials usually support my beliefs. It was a stretch for me to choose this book. "Begin With Yes ... A short conversation that will change your life forever". My personal and professional beliefs place a lot of value on one's attitudes and mindset. Paul, on the other hand, takes the opposite approach. Paul encourages us to take action when we are feeling "stuck". He calls his paradigm "The Law of Action" He encourages small and deliberate steps to improve your feelings and move forward. It's a wonderful tool to help you put your positive attitude and expectations to work.

BEGIN WITH YES SHOULD BE IN YOUR PERMAMENT LIBRARY

"Begin With Yes" is a short conversation that inspired me to take action in my life that will have long term benefits. My outlook has changed-defienlty after readinf Begin With YEs - tiwce! For me Paul's message translated into "Just start to do something" however how small or inconsequential it may seem. "Begin With Yes" will point you in the right direction and will give you simple tools for action and positive change. This book will be a constant companion. Much Appreciated.

    Soon to be a classic...

"Begin with Yes" is as simple as it gets-prerequisite reading even for the One Minute Manager. This two-hour conversation with Paul Boynton will change lives. His casual writing style is consistent with good counseling and coaching practices, lulling the reader into the obvious realization that it really is easy to move professional and personal dreams and aspirations to a new level. If we heed his advice-or at least take one or two of Boynton's suggestions-our lives will be enriched. And if we share this gem with others, we will be taking a small step toward improving our community. For its pragmatic, simplistic, commonsensical approach, "Begin with Yes" will someday be hailed as a cultural classic.

    This one's a "keeper"!

Having read a number of so-called "self-help" books over the years, I was somewhat hesitant to pick up another . . . however, I was to be pleasantly and unexpectedly surprised! Once I prompted myself to start, I was engrossed by the simplicity and practicality of the book and couldn't put it down until I had flipped the back cover! Boynton has so masterfully portrayed the Law of Action into simple, easy-to-apply steps which illustrate and "drive home" those points to be reinforced. This truly will be of benefit to many in my family/friend circle. Thank you, Paul, for your gift of clarity and inspiration!

    I Also Recommend:

If this book gets discovered, it will be huge!

This small, easy to read book could easily become a breakthrough bestseller. If this somehow gets in the hands of Ellen or Oprah it will be an instant hit. It changes lives - simply and beautifully and I am certain that if you read it, you'll be giving it to family and friends. I heard about it from a friend who told me to "read it and step up to the plate." I did and you can too.

"Begin with Yes". The title could be "Begin with

"Begin with Yes". The title could be "Begin with Hell Yes!", or "Why NOT Begin with Yes?" Paul S. Boyton has the blessed ability to make life so much more simple than most of us believe it to be. We all have people in our lives that would love to convince us that life is NOT this simple. Of course, we all run into obstacles and distractions in our journeys. I am telling you to keep this book within reach at all times. By taking Paul's attitude and making it your second nature, you can make a phenomenal difference, not only for yourself, but others as well. Isn't that really the point? Paul will point out different paths to different people, and whatever tickles your fancy will be your gift. This book is a tactic, it's a strategy, it's a shift. After reading this wonderful, little book, you will be more able to tell that little "yeah but" voice that occassionally whispers in your ear to just shut up. Paul reminds us to avoid trying to control anything or anyone but ourselves. You will want Paul to be your best friend and neighbor.
