Overview

This book presents all the essentials of Esperanto grammar, and covers the basic vocabulary students will need to express their thoughts in the language. Beginner's Esperanto is comprised of 15 lessons. Helpful appendices include a list of national and international addresses for Esperanto organizations and sample letters, examples of word-building, and a listing of prepositions and affixes.

Each lesson follows the same format, with review of reading exercises, providing glimpses of the world-wide Esperanto community. Also included in each lesson are conversations in everyday Esperanto which will introduce new vocabulary, expressions and phrases; there are also practice questions to reinforce learned material and encourage use of the language, and a grammar section. A mini Esperanto-English/English-Esperanto dictionary is also provided.
