    Gives a General Idea

Although this familiarizes you with terms like Major Arcana and a couple of examples of different spreads, it really isn't that useful at all and the illustrations are worthy of an elmentary school reader

    Begins at the Beginning

It is an important detail to remember when approaching a new and complex subject like the Tarot: one must begin at the beginning. Kathleen McCormack has done a wonderful job of relating the Tarot to the novice reader, and for this she deserves high praise. Her direct and honest approach to the subject will be of great advantage to every student.

    they were ok

I liked the way it taught beginners, but I didnt like the fact that they didnt have the meanings on the cards, and the pictures were pretty boring. Other then that i loved the cards!!
