Meet the Author

Angela Shaw has degrees from Swarthmore College and Cornell University. She has taught writing at Cornell, Swarthmore, and Haverford College, and she lives in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. She has received a Pushcart Prize and an NEA fellowship. Her poems have appeared in Poetry, Pleiades, Indiana Review, and others, and have been anthologized in The Best American Poetry and The New Young American Poets. Her work was selected by Ted Kooser for his "American Life in Poetry" column.
