I agree with the other reviewers. This book is more of a generalization guide that talks about WP 7 development as a whole process. i.e. setting up Visual Studio, configuring it, app submission process, and so on. It does very little in the way of coding. While it does have examples, it doesn't get deep enough to give you the needed skills to actually build something useful or for sale. Also, it talks way too much about Windows Azure which IMO should not be in the Beginner's book.

The "sample" of this book consists of the publication information and the table of contents. Call me when the publisher is willing to sow me they have a quality product.
