This is a very thorough, but basic book. It teaches you the rules in depth, which is something every wrestler should know. Parents and spectators would do well to learn these also, so they know what is going on in a match.
The book covers basic moves, stances, and technigue. I wish in this area it covered a little bit more in depth. Though for a beginner I feel this is about the best book you can have. Then as your wrestler advances, go into more in depth books on drills and moves. The pictures are very clear and this is where this book steps up above the rest.
I recommend this book absolutely to any beginning wrestler, or his/her parent.
this book knows what it is talking about. I'm just starting off to understand wrestling because my kids want to get into it. my kids are 9 and 8 and they can read and understand this book. great book for everyone.
