You know the kind of candy you eat, even though you're not entirely sure you like it--that about sums up this book. For one, there were numerous typos. Nothing so bad as to make me stop reading the book, but there were definitely some glaring ones.
The heroine is strong and funny, and hero is hot in a Peter Parker (Spiderman). I think the author does really well at setting the scene in terms of description. Also, the sex was steamy. And that kind of about sums up the good bits.
The major issue I had with this book is the fact that both characters (hero and heroine) were alarmingly shallow. They were more like concept sketches, complete with snappy dialogue, as opposed to full developed, multi-layered people. Honestly, I kind of felt like I was reading a scripted version of a racey sit-com.
Don't get me wrong, the book is funny and for those of us who just want a sugar high that's cool. For the rest of you, I would seek something that's a tad more filling.
Note: If possible, I would have given the book a 2 1/2 stars.
