Doktorarbeit / Dissertation aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Medizin, Note: cum laude, Universität Ulm (Medizinische Fakultät ), 135 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der Studie „Behandlungserfolg der Jugenddrogenentzugsstation clean.kick unter den Aspekten Substanzkonsum und soziale Adaption" ergibt der Vorher-Nachher-Vergleich, dass es bei den mit dem Telefoninterview befragten Patienten, ein Jahr nach Entlassung, zu einer signifikanten Reduktion des Alkoholkonsums und einer hochsignifikanten Abnahme des Konsums illegaler Drogen kam. Darüber hinaus gingen die Patienten hochsignifikant häufiger zur Schule oder Arbeit. Es besteht eine hochsignifikante Abnahme der Inanspruchnahme institutioneller Einrichtungen in Bezug auf psychische Probleme und an stationären Entgiftungen. Darüber hinaus wurden auch geschlechtsspezifische Aspekte, die Behandlungsart, Comorbidität und das familiäre Umfeld betrachtet.
Der qualitative Teil der Arbeit befasst sich mit den subjektiven Angaben der Patienten. Demzufolge haben die Bezugspersonen während der Behandlung in clean.kick einen hohen Stellenwert. Die Patienten sehen den strukturierten Alltag als Teil des Behandlungskonzeptes als schwierig an, erkennen darin aber auch die Unterstützung und stufen ihn trotzdem als hilfreich ein. Freizeitaktivitäten, die in der Behandlung mehr Struktur und Regeln aufweisen als normalerweise, werden von den Patienten ausschließlich als positiv bewertet. Zuletzt konnten aus den Angaben der Jugendlichen wichtige Hinweise hinsichtlich der Prävention entnommen werden. Als wichtige Merkmale wurden hier genannt: die Zukunftsperspektive und ein geregelter Tagesablauf, eingeschränktes Drogenangebot und Aufklärung, auch für das soziale Umfeld über Risikofaktoren und protektive Faktoren in Bezug auf den Drogenkonsum, sowie ein Helfersystem und Präventionsangebote für Risikogruppen.
