Truly takes you throught the throught process of how a normal young lady becomes an abused woman and finaly realizes it is her life on the line. Great short novel, easy to read. A bit simple of characters would like to see a bit more character development. Way to go Linda!
A definate page turner! It is amazing that being in such a vulnerable and painful situation, this woman finds that she is a lot stronger than she thought she was. Her strength can be a lesson for other women in abusive relationships that there is light at the end of the darkness. This is an inner battle knowing that what is happening is wrong, but trying to figure out what is right.
I would recommend the book to women that have or are experiencing domestic violence. It describes how easy it can be to get into that kind of a situation. It would be a very valuable book to use for women's group sessions. I highly recommend it for therapy.
This was an awesome book and the author did an great job detailing the book. I would read it again for sure!!
